The deal

A hosted product analytics platform: SDKs, a dashboard, the AI growth engineer, and related tooling. Source is open at gitlab.com/AKnyaZP/metrics under MIT. The hosted version is a convenience layer.

• Don’t put PII in event properties. Email, payment details, government IDs, biometrics — never. The SDK strongly discourages this; the distinct_id field is for opaque user references.
• Don’t use the platform to harass, dox, or target individuals. Aggregate analytics are fine. Tracking individuals across third-party sites is not.
• One account per person/team. Don’t share API keys across separate organizations to dodge tier pricing.
• Respect rate limits. Default ingest cap is 1,000 events/sec per API key. Sustained abuse triggers throttling and a follow-up email.
• If you self-host, you’re on your own. The hosted terms don’t apply. The open-source license does (MIT — no warranty).

• Free — 10 LLM calls/day via shared OpenRouter key, basic dashboard. Unlimited events ingest.
• Pro / Scale — higher LLM quotas, priority queueing, peer benchmarks at full cohort. Per-month billing via Stripe.
• BYO key — paste your own OpenRouter key in Settings → unlimited LLM use, you pay OpenRouter directly.
• Refunds — within 14 days of a charge, full refund on request, no questions. After that, prorated for unused months.

We may suspend an account for: (a) clear ToS violation (spam, harassment, illegal content); (b) stolen/leaked credentials; (c) sustained rate-limit abuse with no response to outreach. We email you first and give 7 days to fix unless the violation is severe.

You use the service as-is. We back up data and target 99.5% uptime, but a missed metric point or a delayed digest email is not grounds for damages. Maximum liability is the fees you paid us in the last 12 months. This is the standard SaaS shape — if you need an enterprise SLA, contact us about a custom contract.

You can delete your account anytime from Settings → AI provider → Account. We delete all your data within 30 days; backups are purged within 90.
